Nepal EQ Relief Trip - Preparation

Preparing our relief materials - 13 May 2015

At around Singapore time 2.50pm Tue, another powerful earthquake striked Nepal again. Many concerned friends have been messaging us to check if we are in Nepal and if we are fine. Thank you all, we are in Singapore and doing fine.

In fact, we were at the warehouse (thank you Astrans for warehousing our goods and providing us logistics support and advices) busy packing the relief goods which have been purchased using the donations many kind-hearted relatives, friends, friends of friends have given us.

The earthquake news brought us down a little as we were worried for our friends in Nepal. However, it gave us greater strength to do more for Nepalese.

Preparing our relief materials - 18 May 2015

We were at Changi warehouse last Saturday to do a 2nd round of repacking after instructions from airline to make smaller packages so that the goods can be shipped easier and faster. So there we go again with 2 muscular volunteers who sacrificed the whole of their precious Saturday to help us, shrink-wrapping each and every box. All of us ended up with muscle ache all over our bodies and sore shoulders because those goods were super heavy.

Our goods will be shipped within the next couple of days! Pray that all will be well-delivered and received in Kathmandu.

We will keep everyone posted. :)
